Amsterdam at Home Makelaars: "A new approach to finding your dream home".

Where most brokers only present photos of available real estate online, Amsterdam at Home Makelaars proactively shows homes specifically to the target group for which they are suitable. "Above all, we want our clients to find that one place where they feel at home," says Wouter Thöne, who founded Amsterdam at Home seven years ago with his partner Anouk Monnik. Text: Michiel Stol

"We want to be a real partner for our clients. One they can trust to find the perfect new home, or to sell their current one," Monk explains. "To do that, we have a broad strategy and use listing sites both in the Netherlands and abroad: for example, on Rightmove in the UK. We also implement targeted social media campaigns."Wouter thone Anouk monk

This proactive approach has proven very effective. "The chances are much higher to get more viewings, better prices for properties and faster sales," adds Thöne.

Top Segment
This new approach, together with their own data models with which they can very accurately predict the development of the market, has made Amsterdam at Home one of the best brokers in the capital, especially in the upper segment. "We know the city. So we know what a neighbourhood has to offer and what our clients want. It creates the perfect match," says Thöne enthusiastically. "We do our best to make our clients feel at home, both here at our office and at their new place, and that is what our clients appreciate most in us. That is why we do what we do," laughs Monk.
