Society feeling at the sale of a unique property on the Herengracht

We were commissioned to sell the magnificent property on the Herengracht. A special national monument of 200m2 with beautiful Rococo style elements in the hall and a park-like garden of 12 meters wide and 25 meters deep. In the garden you don't hear the city, but a variety of bird sounds that only hushed when a cat with a prowl approaches. In the hall you imagine yourself in the 18th century where the servant will serve the red wine at any moment.

The property attracted a lot of people, thanks to its special appearance and unique garden, despite the price of millions. At Amsterdam@home brokers we naturally receive each individual viewer, but it was not uncommon for the departing viewer to bump into the newcomer. The people who came to look had a high level of us-knows-how because the neighbours from Aardenhout who wanted to return to the canals with such a garden, met each other to their surprise in "our" hallway.
Amsterdam Oud Zuid was also in attendance; mostly former Grachtengordel residents who now live in Oud Zuid but would like to return to their natural habitat after their children have left. During a number of viewing days, we created a nice sociable feeling that ultimately resulted in a wonderful sales result.

You are in good hands with us!
